I'm Rhett Devlin.
I am currently a student about to graduate at the University of Victoria with a Software Engineering Major and a Minor in Business.
During my time at XSENSOR I created test cases to determine optimal Bluetooth configuration for a pressure imaging device. Then I would analyze test case result data of the Bluetooth tests and would create a report and present on the results to the project stakeholders. I also started development of an Android Application using Kotlin for mobile Bluetooth connection to pressure imaging device.
Tools Used: Android Studio, Serial Analyzer, ExcelWorking remotely for 4iiii Innovations, a company I previously interned at, as a Quality Assurance consultant for a specific project. Work involves systematically evaluating iOS applications to determine if specified requirements are met and performing tests on the backend using Postman to determine optimal functionality.
Tools Used: Postman, Jira, SlackInitially, I started as the sole software Quality Assurance tester for multiple Android/iOS applications and backends for those applications. Then I created a Requirements Specification document for a new platform that included Embedded, Cloud and Mobile sections. After that I developed multiple website frontends using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Django one of which included a web page for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance. Then I focused on iOS development with Swift creating an iOS Bluetooth GPS tracking application. I was involved in developing the company's released sports application on iOS with a focus on development of a Swift Bluetooth library for the Company's embedded devices to connect to.
Tools Used: Git, Jira, Xcode, PostmanSong Guesser is a game I created using Spotify's REST API. Using the API, the user is played a preview of their top Spotify tracks and is able to guess the songs name. Working and playable but still in development.
Technologies Used: Node.js, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HerokuKillshot Generator is a sentence generator for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition to be used when a enemy is defeated. The sentence is created based on the enemy and weapon chosen.
Technologies Used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQueryGhostfinder is a reaction time based game where you have to catch the ghost as he teleports around. You click on the ghost as many times as you can in the time limit and the highscore is saved to your browser.
Technologies Used: HTML, CSS, JavaScriptChat client and server using Python's Socket library. Chat client had a GUI with functionality including joining a chat room and sending messages to others in the same room.
